Quality Inn At Collins Road - Cedar Rapids

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by several issues. The room I stayed in had leftover food in the mini fridge from the previous guest, raising questions about cleanliness. There was no screen on the second-floor windows. The TV lost sound after a few minutes, and when I reported it, I was told to use closed captioning instead of having it fixed. I encountered mold on the shower curtain, which led to my partner refusing to use the bathroom. Light fixtures in the room lacked bulbs and the ones I was able to procure worked poorly due to a short in the power cord. The $100 deposit policy left me with unplanned cash flow issues as it took 13 days to refund the amount, despite being initially told I'd get it back by the next morning.

Very comfortable bed! This is priority in my book.

The bed was very comfortable and the bath was clean. Our location was good, between 2 locations we had to visit.

The breakfast was not very good. The door at the end of the hall seldom locked. People were propping it open with rocks so they could get in,which didn't give you a very secure feeling!

I encountered a very accommodating front desk staff, who helped me feel at ease . The location was also ideal, situated just minutes from my family's home.

Unfortunately, the facilities are quite dated and in need of upgrades. I faced issues with noise from adjoining rooms that disrupted my peace at night.

Breakfast was fine

Room cleanliness was terrible. Room smelled of smoke. Old socks, chips, and underwear left in room. We are leaving after just 1 night.

Need to upgrade bedspreads & chairs in rooms

Didn't like anything, except pet-friendly policy.

Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Water was yellow in toilet when we checked in. OK after we flushed.Coffee grounds moldy in coffe pot.

Logistically it was close to where I needed to be so that was good

Needs serious updating everything appeared and looked old it wasn't that it was dirty just very dated everything from carpet to Furnishings to even the bedspreads

It was just an appropriate option for a weekend escape in Cedar Rapids with fantastic value. The room was ready when I arrived, a relief after a long day of travel. Be cautious of parking condition. It's in pretty rough shape.

it was wonderful hotel for shopping. the staff was all very very helpful. i had the queen room, it was brand-new and beautifully maintained. comfy location, the free parking was available.

Had really nice stay on a road trip, the staff were very very helpful, location was convenient close to shopping areas. Location: the hotel was so close to local eateries rather than chain restaurants, and chain restaurants. Lucky that it was within a close distance from Subway, offering food to go...

great staff but room could use updates

The location was convenient. The staff excelled in their hospitality, quickly addressing our needs . Our room wassuper clean and cozy. Other guests highlighted how helpful the reception was , which reflects the strong service culture here.

Everyone that worked there wss very friendly. The breakfast was one of the better.
